We are thrilled to introduce Rev. Dr. Eric Haskins, the candidate recommended by the Call Team to serve as our Associate Pastor! Join us on Sunday, July 13, at 8:30 & 10:00 AM for worship as Eric visits St. John’s to lead, preach, and meet our church family. Then, return on Sunday, July 20 at 8:30 & 10:00 AM for a special worship service followed by a congregational potluck and meeting at 11:00 AM in the Fellowship Hall, where members will vote to officially call Eric as our Associate Pastor. (Please Note: There will be no outdoor worship on these Sundays. Join us back at the park on July 27 for worship at our annual Pet Blessing Sunday.) Let’s come together to celebrate this exciting next step in the life of our church!

Outdoor Worship is BACK this summer at the Babe Mann Park Lakefront Pavilion (900 Proctor Dr, Elkhorn) at 10:00 a.m. every Sunday through August 24! Come enjoy worship in the beauty of God’s creation, with St. John’s KIDS Extra Innings activities, popsicles, and special event Sundays all summer long. Just bring a lawn chair, your Bible, and a friend, and join us at the park! (Note: 8:30 a.m. Traditional Worship will continue to be held indoors and online.)

St. John's KIDS! will offer busy boxes & popsicle treats during the 10 AM outdoor worship services at Babe Mann Park. Our KIDS! Staff will offer activities for kids to participate in while families enjoy fellowship together. Three larger KIDS! Events are planned throughout the summer too. Mark your calendars for June 15, August 3, and August 24! We hope you can pop over to the park and chill with the St. John's KIDS! this summer!

On Sunday, July 27 bring your sunglasses and chairs out to Babe Mann Park for the 10 AM service, and don't forget to bring your pet! We will be celebrating our furry four legged friends on this Sunday, and blessing them with a prayer and treats. There will also be a chance for you to win a raffle basket for your pet! We welcome Lakeland Animal Shelter to join our service, who will bring answers to your questions on adopting a pet.

St. John’s KIDS! is hosting our six annual Splish Splash Sunday bash on Sunday, August 3 at 10 AM. Kids of all ages can enjoy water games, splash pads & water slides, kiddie pools and water tables, and sprinklers galore! Bring your swimsuit and towel. We're sure to have a splashing good time!

Never read the Bible? Curious how different parts connect to the greater narrative and how they relate to our lives today? Join Pastor Tom on Tuesdays September - May at 9:00 a.m. at St. John's as we take a deeper dive into the Bible and the past week's sermon, based on the churchwide series "the big picture". All are welcome, including those who have not been part of our Tuesday morning Bible study in the past. No need to sign up, just join us!
