Who We Are

St. John’s is a growing, multi-generational family of faith committed to our mission to love God and love others in a way that brings HOPE to the world.
We gather in our historic church building, originally built in 1898 and renovated in 2016, located in downtown Elkhorn, Wisconsin.
Worship is on Sundays at 8:00 (traditional), 9:15 and 10:45 a.m. (contemporary). Each service is unique, representing a format that is both “rooted and relevant”.
Nursery is available at 9:15 & 10:45 a.m., and St. John’s Kids! meet during the 9:15am service (though kids are always welcome at any of our services).

Groups are regular gatherings of 8-20 people that meet for the simple purpose of friendship, eating and living on the mission God has called us each to be a part of together. That mission includes getting to know eachother and our neighbors, talking about what God is doing in your life and saying through His Word, and praying with one another. Think of groups not like a class or a study, but rather a family.
We also offer classes and volunteer opportunities throughout the year to grow together in our knowledge of God’s Word and enter into community with one another.

It is our goal to preach God’s Word in such a way that it is rooted in Him and relevant to us.

Father’s Day, Safe Families for Children
And this is my prayer: that your love may abound more and more in knowledge and depth of insight, so that you may able to discern what is best and may be pure and blameless for the day of Christ, filled with the fruit of righteousness that come through Jesus Christ-to the glory and praise of God.

The Bible Doesn’t Say That-Judging Others
God is the ultimate judge, yet because He made us like Him, we have the ability to judge based on His standards as followers of Christ.
    1) Do Judge
    2) Judge with the right heart
    3) Judge as a rescue effort, not to condemn
