Beginnings week 5-Cain and Abel
Series: Beginnings
Entitlement leads to disappointment and even death.  We are not called to be entitled people.  We are called to be thankful and understand that we don't deserve anything.

God is at work helping us to change; helping us to become more grateful.

We mus always give God our first fruits. Everything we have is a gift from God.  Give thanks always.

Memorial Day-Outlive Your Life: All or Nothing
God is a jealous God. He gave all of himself, so that he could have all of you. And this is a matter of life and death. Jesus said, "I am the way, the truth, the life."

Outlive Your Life week 5–Be Guided, Be The Guide
We baptize babies to signify they are marked with the cross of Christ forever. And we confirm our confirmation students today because you now understand what God has done for you.  It will change your life.  This is a big deal!

As we celebrate our new steeple, may we always remember God's promises.  May it help point us in the direction to love, worship and serve God always.

    OYL week 5-Mother’s Day
I don't know what your plans are for Mother's Day, but please don't rush. There might not be any more pennies in the account tomorrow. So how you spend every second today could the most valuable, important thing you do. Spend it loving others. The currency of love is time.

Outlive You Life–Week 4 (Don’t Forget The Bread)
In our relationships, we commit spiritual neglect if we don't love people the way Jesus loves us.  God commands us to "love each other as I have loved you." (John 15:12)

The greatest sign to others that you are a Christian is your radical, ridiculous love for others, a love that puts their needs above your own.  If you are sick of your own feeling, emotions, mistakes and guilt holding you back....if you want to be set free to love others....REPENT!

Be willing to give up your possessions and share with others.

For whoever wants to save their life will lose it, but whoever loses their life for me and for the gospel will save it." (Mark8:35)
